Maruni
Maruni Wood Industry was founded in May 1928 in Hiroshima, and has a number of ranges under its aegis including Maruni, Maruni Collection and Nextmaruni. Maruni’s slogan “Industrialising Craftwork” sums up their ability to create great works of craft by using industrialised methods of production.
Since 2004 Maruni has decided to build on its reputation as a master wood manufacturer by introducing international designers including Naoto Fukasawa, Jasper Morrison, Harri Koskinen, SANAA architects, Shin Azumi, Tomoko Azumi amongst many others. In doing so Maruni has developed into one of the most significant contemporary furniture brands in the world.
